WW2 Sealed Tin Of Dried Eggs - Supplied By U.S.A To British Ministry Of Food
An unopened wartime ration tin containing 12 'Pure Dried Whole Eggs' in powder form, produced in the U.S.A and supplied to the British Ministry of Food.
The 4 1/2 inch tall tin is free of dents but does have the commonly seen scratches and rust staining present.

1917-1968 RAF Kidbrooke (S.E.London) Military Book Section 'Returns' Bag
An unusual little item being a ''returns'' bag for military books stored at RAF Kidbrooke in South East London , the RAF station was built in 1917 as a stores depot but quickly expanded to a training and maintenance base, during WW2 it housed a barrage balloon squadron and nearby a glider training field for Air Training Corps cadets.

1940's - 50's British Army Short Length Wool Puttees
Good condition pair of 36 inch long beige coloured wool puttees, these short variant of puttee were in service during late WW2 and continued to be worn right through to the 1980's. No moth damage, good cotton tapes with little wear.
This pair were discovered along with a well worn, early looking 1922 pattern cap with small King's crown side buttons so possibly pre-1952. read more
