Pre - 1952 1st Battalion Parachute Regiment Sergeant's Mess Fork

An electro nickel plated (silver plate) dining fork from the sergeant's mess of 1st Battalion Parachute regiment.

The fork bears the PR winged logo with a King's crown above and a small figure '1' below, part of a mixed cutlery set (all the same regiment) dating from the 1948 - 1952 period, could possibly be earlier.

The 7 inch fork has been left as found and not cleaned, does show signs of service wear with some loss to the finish hence it being removed from service.

An original piece and not often encountered.
