The unused card was published by Raphael Tuck & Sons on behalf of the WLA Benevolent Fund.

WW1 Hereford VAD Red Cross Armband
A WW1 regulation pattern Army Medical Service /Voluntary Aid armband.
The white cotton band is the early narrow type as later variants were much wider, another good indication of being early manufacture is by having the 3 x mother of pearl type button fasteners, the red felt cross has been attached to the band and not printed, does show signs of light service wear.

Boer War - WW1 British Officer's Water Bottle
An officer's private purchase nickel plated water bottle.
The bottle does show signs of service wear with some surface scratches and dings present but still retains its original screw cap with chain, one of the side lugs is slightly bent inwards but left as found, leather carrying strap and wool cover now missing (covers were often discarded when damaged in the field).
