A fresh to the market example of the Krag Jorgensen short bayonet with an 8 1/2 inch blade ( light staining).
A single edged blade with evidence of period sharpening near tip,walnut grips are in good condition.
The release button not working at present just needs oiling,metal scabbard with light rusting and complete with its leather frog stamped with D.Sohn Frankfurt A/M.

A true shed find example of a WW1 water bottle and carrier. The leather carrier is stamped with 'Whitehouse & Hartley, Walsall 1915'

Heavily mothed wool cover with the original cork stopper presently stuck solid. There appears to be a couple of weak points in the leather carrier strap but still a totally original, untouched item.  read more
