WW2 RAF Type 48 Oxygen Mask Microphone & Box

A good condition Air Ministry Type 48 microphone still housed in its original card box.

The microphone bears the stores reference number 10A/12570 along with the ON/OFF indicator, switch is in good working order, the outer rubber band without any cracks/splits.

The flex is the correct wartime cotton wrapped type and also in good order, the card box which bears the stores reference number 10A/14381 (correct box) does show signs of age related wear with the odd crease and blemish present, slightly weakened structure.
