Edwardian - WW1 Royal Naval Reserve Officer's Belt

An untouched RNR officer's black leather belt with gilded brass clasp.

The buckle bears a King's crown with fouled anchor below along with the letters RNR, much of the gilt finish remains especially to the wreath.

The adjustable leather belt is stamped with the name F. (Frederick) Highatt, 70 High St, Gosport, an outfitter and sword cutler working from this address since 1855 to 1905, the leather has some surface wear but remains supple, the sword hanging attachment has been removed but a long time ago.

Left as found, not cleaned and polished, please study the images in regards to condition.
