Unissued Late WW2 U.S M1 Helmet Net With Instruction Tag

An original late WW2 M1 helmet net, officially listed as 'Net, Helmet, with Band' but more commonly known in collecting circles as the M44 net.

The unissued net retains its original paper tag/label bearing instruction on how to correctly fit the net to the shell along with how to apply various types of camouflage/foliage, the large paper clip attaching the label does have some light rust present.

The neoprene band is present but has shrunk and hardened over time losing all elasticity (commonly encountered) and would recommend not stretching it over a helmet as likely to break, the net has been stored for many years as the net's small squares have left an impression on the tag.

These nets are now hard to find especially with their original label/tag, sell for well over $200 in the States.
