WW2 Luftwaffe K98 Bayonet Frog 1939

A good condition leather K98 bayonet frog bearing a Luftwaffe L.B.A acceptance mark.

The frog retains a full set of aluminium rivets and remain tight, a lightly stamped makers name ''Spitz & Co'' can be found on the reverse side and below this is an almost indiscernible year date 1939, can only be seen/picked out in certain light.

The stitching is in very good order apart from just below one of the top rivets, the stitching is not broken just not gone through , possibly from time of manufacture, not really noticeable.
