British 1939 Pattern Leather ''Utility'' Pouch
A very good condition 39 pattern ''Utility'' pouch constructed using a fibre board inner and grained leather outer.
These pouches are slightly larger than the basic pouch and have a 2 inch wide brass buckle to take the ''Lewis gun'' webbing yoke (also leather yokes, now rare).
The rear side rectangular leather tab/bracket would have a narrow belt passed through it horizontally to adjoin to the other pouch, it also had the option to pass the 2 inch wide yoke vertically through it.
Nice condition pouch, undated but with WD acceptance ink stamp, one small scuff on the side as seen in the images, please study the images in regards to condition.
