Boer War Period 8th (King's Royal Irish) Hussars Officer's Horse Bridle Ear Bosses

A most pleasing pair of 8th King's Royal Irish Hussars officer's brass & white metal (possibly silver) horse bridle ear bosses/badges.

The slightly mis-matched pair (commonly encountered) bear the 'Maid of Erin' Irish harp with King's crown above, there is some light detail rubbing due to polishing, some remnants of the old dried cleaning agent can be found within the folds as they say.

The leather backings are in very good order with all stitching intact, slightly different profile as a mis-matched pair (again most common with horse tack & bosses).

This pair came together with a pair of 8th Irish Hussars stirrup slides (will be listed separately) but bearing Queen Victoria crowns hence the Boer War period listing, the photos don't do them justice.
