WW1 Australian Light Horse Troops 1915 Pattern Ammo Belt Pouch (2nd Type)
A 1916 dated pouch for carrying 15 rds of rifle ammunition.
The leather pouch is in good supple condition and clearly displays the makers name ''W.T.Weeks of Sydney'' along with a broad arrow acceptance mark.
The brass/bronze pillar stud is missing from the top flap but could be replaced.
This pattern of pouch can often be seen in period photos being worn on the waistbelts of ANZAC, Indian & Gurkha troops, Mediterranean Expeditionary Force.
