WW2 USAAF 3'' Pilot Wings By Blackinton (Sterling)

A highly desirable pair of original sterling silver pilots wings made by the U.S company Blackinton.

The 3 inch long pinback wings are of the highest quality with fine detail to the feathers, early made heavy weight wings.

The rear of the shield bears the details ''Sterling By Blackinton'' but what is different about these wings is the stamping is facing the opposite way to most other Blackinton's making this a rarity, have seen this on the 2 inch shirt wings but again rarely encountered.
