WW2 Malta Dockyard Workers Continuous Service Booklet
A WW2 period labour service booklet that belonged to a Maltese man working in the Royal Naval dockyard, Grand Harbour, Malta.
The 26 page booklet is named to a Albert Azzopardi who worked as an assistant electrical fitter from 1938 through to 1948, only a couple of pages bear any employment/discharge details with all remaining pages left blank/no entries.
The cover does have some age related wear especially to the corners, couple of pages also with edge wear but generally in good order, staples are a bit rusty.
Albert Azzopardi luckily survived the 'Siege of Malta' between 1940 - 42 and his trade skills must have been continually called upon to undertake repair work to bomb damaged electrical supplies and equipment.
