1933 Gordon Highlanders On Manoeuvres Framed Photograph (Aldershot, England)

An appealing photograph of the Gordon Highlanders whilst on manoeuvres during the summertime of 1933.

The following year the 2nd Battalion moved to Gibraltar and in 1936 embarked for Singapore where they would later see much action during WW2.

The untouched 13 1/4 x 11 1/4 inch oak frame is in very good order and still retains its original backing paper with the Aldershot photographers label still present , the backing paper has suffered slightly over time and has some wear and tear, the photo is in excellent condition (please note that the images were taken outside in natural daylight and cloud reflection is present).

The card border does have some stain marks especially to the top edge but this does not impact the photo in any way, please study the images in regards to condition.
