Arthur and Violet had one son 'Arthur Henry Augustus Jacob' who would later become an officer in the Royal Fusiliers during WW1, He died at the Battle of Somme in 1916.
Condition - the field glasses are in good working order and retain good vision, would benefit from a light internal clean as traces of dust/dirt present on the ocular lenses, the faux leather covering to the body has some age related shrinkage and small areas of loss as seen in the photos, the leather case is also in good order with all stitching intact, one of the internal base blocks is absent, still retains its original strap.
