French 1831 Modelle Artillery Gladius/Glaive Short Sword

A good example manufactured by Talabot of Paris with a 19 inch double edged Gladius style blade, which now bears an age related patina, very minor nicks and some minor pitting in places, good firm brass hilt which has not been over polished.
